If you love science and you're looking for science t-shirts, then you've come to the right place!
From biology to physics, the scientific method has given us amazing breakthroughs and discoveries. With such a tremendous impact on our daily lives, what better way to show your love than by wearing a cool-looking science tee?
If you're a fan of a particular object or activity, you can probably find a t-shirt that shows everyone what you're interested in.
For example, fans of heavy metal music are usually seen in those popular black rock shirts and car jockeys can proudly cruise the boulevard in their favorite car t-shirt.

In the old days, you might be able to find a couple of shirts hanging out at your local Planetarium or science museum gift shop...and if you didn't have one of these attractions in your local city then you were out of luck.
So with this in mind, I went on an expedition in the name of science to locate the coolest science t-shirts on the net.
Best On-line Places for Science T-shirts
One of the first places I found that had a great selection of shirts is Amorphia-Apparel.com.
Started in 2006 by former arts student, Jeremy Kalgreen, Amorphia-Apparel.com sells cool-looking vector-based designs; and among these designs are some very unique science-based tees.
Do you have a favorite scientist you'd like to pay respect to? Then check out Amorphia Apparel's 'Hirsute Collection' where you'll find an assortment of shirts featuring scientists such as the Grand Master of magnetic induction, Michael Faraday to even ol' Albert Einstein - all pictured in their bearded glory.
Also make sure to look at Jeremy's "Teach the Controversy" section showcasing sarcastic and funny shirts covering a diverse range of topics like evolution vs. creationism, myths and other pseudo-sciences.

Many of his tees are printed on-demand using a method called plot printing; a thin polyurethane material is heat- pressed onto the fabric of the shirt until it fuses into the material.
The advantages of plot printing is the print is soft and pliable, it won't fade with washing and will last as long, if not more, than traditional silk screen prints.
Prices for his shirts range from about $16 to $25 and you can also get custom-made tops as well as sweatshirts and messenger bags with his designs printed on them.

Neat-o-shop.com claims to carry 'the neatest stuff on earth' and you may agree once you see their large selection of science t-shirts; many are drawn by independent artists and illustrators.
Are you a food scientist or chemist? You may get a kick out of this design by illustrator Mark Heath called A Mean O' Acid; it features a humorous take on an amino acid with an attitude.
If you like this tee, you'll find more than 20 other designs where Mark offers a funny take on subjects as diverse as gene therapy, physics, astronomy and mathematics.

If you're a big fan of anything geeky then you may like ThinkGeek.com.
This site started off as an online specialty store that created and sold gadgets, toys and unique gifts to computer programmers and
students.
Their product line now carries hundreds of geek, gaming shirts, pop culture and science t-shirts. Many of their designs are created in-house and you can even submit ideas for future designs.
Scienceteecher.com is another great place to find tees for the science-minded. It's a family-owned business that's been selling science and math t-shirts since the late 1990's.
